Random ski resort reviews

Lech is a top class resort both on and off the slopes. the village is lovely to wander around although very expensive! the whole area is just great though and it usually gets good snow - i went in april 2006 and there was tonnes of the stuff. there are plenty of lifts and the slopes are suitable for most abilities although maybe not for the very first timer. oberlech is a village a bit up the mountain which provides a nice atmosphere and many restaurants.

Overall an awesome holiday. Some of the most spectacular sights ever, snowboarding on some of Europes highests pistes. Even a chance to ride on fresh powder when we were there, followed with 5 days of blue skies and sunshine. Couldnt ask for much more! Plenty of pubs, restarants, and a few clubs to keep you busy at night. The bowling alley is a good bit of fun if you have a chance. Drinks are a bit expensive when out, but there are supermarches dotted all over which offer very good…

Schladming was a wonderful skiing experience in every way. This not so well know resort in the Eastern Alps is much larger than it appears. Each mountain is a nice size in itself but add the four link mountains together and you have a week of exploring to do. The ski runs are extremely well groomed. Restaurants are everywhere. A great excursion is to rodel at night at Hoch Wurchen. A wonderful rodel piste with a small restaurant at the top by the name of Hoch Wurchen Alm. The glacier…
