Visited twice with friends in 2020 (week 5) and 2024 (week 4) and alway s plenty of room on the slopes. Perfect snow in 2020 (10/10). In 2024 the weather was warming up to 10c on the lowest parts for 3-4 days but somehow the snow was still quite good up until our last day when it was very slushy on the low slopes. A superb little resort that takes different weather systems than the far north. It is limited in scope to say the Dolomites, but brilliant for a few days ski for an average intermediate and very suited to families. Perhaps an advanced skier would find Abetone a bit limited as an area to ski. Abetone is not so touristic so I didnt feel as if I was being ripped off being a foreigner there.
