Visited twice with friends in 2020 (week 5) and 2024 (week 4) and alway s plenty of room on the slopes. Perfect snow in 2020 (10/10). In 2024 the weather was warming up to 10c on the lowest parts for 3-4 days but somehow the snow was still quite good up until our last day when it was very slushy on the low slopes. We are going back because the area is very nice for us and because we still have to explore the routes towards Italy.

Great resort for beginners and Intermediates especially and good value. Village in a valley, everything very central and no queuing. Accommodation, shops, bars restaurants. Ski both sides of mountain and into Italy, all grades of runs. Great if you want to ski / relax / sunbathe / enjoy French food. Not good for a stay with apres ski - if that's what you want go to Austria.

Wonderful resort, wide pistes, not at all busy, never queued all week. The snow was wonderful. skied 30/35 miles a day. Skiing accross the border into Sauze dOulx Italy is an adventure and lunching at the sweet little Italian restaurants for variety made it a great trip. Montgenevre is very safe for kids, especially in the evening. Only downside - not many restaurants on the mountain, but overall wonderful going back again.

Montgenerve has lots to offer and even the children had the best time ever. Pretty scenery with the unspoiled villages and the locals were top class. The range of slopes was excellent and enough to challenge all levels both on and off piste.

For supposedly the busiest week of the season the slopes and lifts were remarkably unpacked. Add to that the excellent snow and this was one of the best resorts that I have skied at. There are plenty of greens and easy blues for beginners but the real attraction of Montgenevre is the number and quality of fast tree lined reds which are quite simply a joy. There are a few blacks as well and these are all relatively straight forward, well pisted and a real confidence builder. The key to this resort is the number of runs that you can access meaning that you can literally chase the sun and always ski on a slope in sunlight as there are lots of peaks to choose from. Accommodation is fine and no m
