Solden spreads along the main valley. This means either a lot of walking or taking a bus to lift stations in the mornings or to find a restaurant at night. There are only 2 proper lifts from the base up the mountain, and you can understand why they are very busy at peak hours. The ski area itself is split into 3 clearly defined sectors. Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino- Falcade together is a medium sized ski resort. This area is really good for intermediate and beginner skiiers. There are a few good black runs too. There are many wide and scenic slopes that was a pleasure to ski. No real bottlenecks at the lifts even though we visited when the resort was completely full.
