Flachau reviews

The lift infra structure must be amongst the best there is with very few queues and access to other equally exciting linked areas was a doddle. There are literally hundreds of kilometers of linked slopes including Wagrain (yummy), Sauchensee (brilliant), Flachauwinkle (super) and others. Our hotel was B&B so we had to go into the village to eat. This is not a large place but there were plenty of places to dine with the steak at the 'Cobblers House' being my favourite. It is not a noisy or a loud resort and could fairly be described as quiet. Some of the drinking spots at the bottom of the slopes are very much louder and cater more for the hardened apre skier.
