There are 4 mountains to ski between, for us our least favourite is Planai as we always feel it is busier. Most of the lift system is quick but there are a few old chairs still about. The runs are mostly reds but a run having a blue designation does not always mean it is any easier than the reds around it! There are a few blacks including the famous run into the resort. Wide and well groomed pistes encourage many skiers to ski far too fast for their ability, the slopes are very much alike, the altitude is relatively low and sometimes it gets really slushy in Spring although the pisteurs do a great job keeping the snow as good as possible even late in the season.
