Random ski resort reviews

Went to Ischgl last February on my fourth time and enjoyed it a lot. Prices have gone up a lot !!! and where did all those people come from ??? To my surprise the Sammnau slopes were better looked after than on the Ischgl side - Strange discovery. Even though I m an expert skier and love the black runs on the Ischgl side, I preferred to ski on the Sammnau slopes this time. Next year I'm going somewhere cheaper and where there are fewer people.

Hintertux...what a place! In my view the best glacier resort in Europe. Modern and fast lift system, Piste in great condition and cheap places to eat. The real secret is the off piste! Just below the glacier line in the winter there is a huge off piste bowl ( some of it marked as "schiroute" marked off piste ) and no body skis it! Geweldig dorp en wonderschone omgeving! ben er nu zelf verschillende malen in de winter geweest en aldaar was mijn eerste ski ervaring. Fijne pistes voor beginners en gevorderden, maar na een week heb je het wel gezien. Het mooiste van Wengen is wel dat er bijna geen autos rijden, alleen autos zoals taxis (een handvol) en een aantal electrische hotelsautos. Voor iets meer geld heb je een skipas voor het hele jungfraugebied, dus ook voor heel de overkant. Kortom, ik hoop dat ik hier,…
