I was in Montgenenvre recently where the first snow fell on Sunday 24th September. Maybe this is a good sign for the winter? A massive amount of work is happening in Montgenevre to improve the facilities. The centre of the village is now an almost traffic area. A tunnel takes all the through traffic away from the centre, which is now almost pedestrianised. Gerlos war einfach der Hammer! Übersichtlicher Ort mit tollen Bars und Discos, viele Junge Leute gutem Après-Ski und einem einmaligen Flair. Weiters war ich sehr überrascht über die netten Niederländer. Das Schigebiet finde ich auch sehr gut und bietet von Anfänger - Fortgeschritten auf über 160 km alles was ein Sportherz begehrt

Very good ski-area for families. Payable. Impressive mountains around. Good reachability. Excellent skischool. No nightlife.
