Random ski resort reviews

Westendorf; Geweldig dorp, klein, knus en rustig. Veel Hollanders (en Engelsen). Bijna alle café's zijn uitsluitend voor Hollanders en veel gezellige live muziek. (Biertje 2,00 tot 2,40 voor 20-25 cl.). minpuntje; Zeer veel mannen (i.v.t vrouwen) verhouding is volledig zoek, maar dat is bijna overal op de wintersport. Verder veel "boeren" maar die maken wel de sfeer!! Skigebied is leuk en netjes. Veel pistes tussen of beter gezegd onder de boomgrens, met veel en gezellige…

Short, but many slopes on 6 mountains. Best pistes in the Kappe-aerea with 200m heightdifference and nice advanced slopes up to almost 2 kms. Not compareable with the large resorts in the Alpes, but amazing good possibilities voor skiing in a mounainreion only 600-850m high. Absolute fantastic artificial snowing, best quality ever seen!

I took my family to Courchevel 1650 for half term in February 2007. This is the third time we have been there so I consider myself a bit of an expert on this resort. We drive and arrive early on Saturday morning to get the best conditions and the most time on the snow. 1650 provides the combination of convenient ski to the door accommodation, quiet slopes and a lack of queues at reasonable cost.
