Had two holidays last year in the Three Valleys: Meribel with a set of friends for a long weekend and February half-term week with my family at Courchevel 1650. For a relatively quiet, family friendly environment 1650 is ideal. We stayed in an apartment at Residence 1650 a block of apartments right next to the Ariondaz cable car and were able to ski to the door. We used Agence 1650 and found the whole process of looking for apartments, booking on-line, picking up keys etc very easy. Prices at bars and restaurants are much more reasonable than other parts of Courchevel while still retaining a "Frenchness" which can be lacking in places such as Meribel.
