It is the most relaxed, friendly place you could hope for - the Norwegians are very charming. The skiing is brilliantly well organised, fast lifts, no queues and always a smile from the attendants. The ski school is outstanding, and makes lessons as fun as they are instructive. On very cold days, they fed the children hot drinks at regular intervals. A large sprawling resort. One of the older resorts it does not have the walkways you get with the newer custom built resorts. Getting about is not a problem though as there is the usual free bus that runs about every twenty minutes through out the resort. Kitsbühel clearly is among the nicest ski resorts in Europe! The array of slopes especially of difficult (labelled black) and intermediate (labelled red) level is unequalled! Beautiful trails await to be conquered by athletic skiers and boarders. Beginners are probably not too willing to pay the rather expensive ticket fees as they can not tap the potential of this ski resort!
