We have just returned from a fabulous week (ending 3rd March). The snow is excellent with plenty of powder. However it is a little difficult to ski across to Zurs due mainly to wind and poor visibility. The best of the weather definitely seems to be in Lech. Even St Anton has poor visibility. The resort itself is stunning. It truly is the birthplace of skiing and retains much of its traditional character. We stayed at a the lovely family run Fortuna Guest House and found everything to be perfect. Champagne and fur coats are in evidence everywhere, but it is by no means a stuff resort.
