What have I been missing out on over the years?! Well, St. Anton is a friendly village offering great hospitality. We stayed at the Alpenhof which was a family run hotel just 10 mins walk to the west of the centre - the food and service was great - it had it's own minibus for rides into town too. The food is generally of a great standard across all of the places we ate - even on the slopes. The apres ski is something else in St. Anton - the Mooserwirt from 3pm onwards is a hedonistic melting pot of people who want to party and have some good well mannered fun - it really is a must do experience - we went there most days - it couldn't be surpassed.
