Random ski resort reviews

The resort has everything for the intermediate skier. Great variety of runs and plenty of them - enough to run the legs out every day. Overall, the lift system at Tignes and Val dIsere is slowly getting upgraded - the aeroski gondola is now called Toviere and holds more people per car and even has seats !!! Still a few week points /bottlenecks in the lift system, particularly if you are staying in Tignes 1800 / Breviere as you come up to Le Lac in the morning. But overall, tremendous…

The skiing area is quite extensive and offers mainly blue and red pistes. I particularly enjoyed skiing between the trees. Even though I was there in the Christmas holidays, the slopes were not crowded and the queues were short. One thing Praloup lacks for sure is après-ski. In spite of that, I can recommend this resort to anyone who loves skiing and doesnt demand (very) challenging runs.

This is a vastly improved resort compared to 5 years ago. The new lifts have opened up the area and gives you a tremendous variety of slopes to ski. I'm hooked and look forward each year to see the changes that have occurred. I have just returned from 31st trip to the resort. The snow this April was wonderful. Deep powder snow. Wonderful.
