Random ski resort reviews

I went for Christmas skiing in Alpe d'Huez christmas. I really enjoyed it, the runs are varied, the resort has a few runs over 2000m vertical. A few of the runs were closed i.e. The Tunnel, and a few had thin snow cover i.e. Sarenne, but generally conditions were good, with sunshine skiing. The lift system is a mixture of new and fast + very old and slow. If you fancy a change from Tignes, Val, Les Arc, La Plagne, 3 Valleys give Alpe d'Huez a go. I'd like to go back to complete the…

Wij skienen al vele jaren in Gerlos. Het gebied is erg leuk en afwisselend. Wanneer je nog moet leren skien is Gerlos helemaal een aanrader. Er zijn veel Nedelandse leraren en leraressen. Wat ik wel een nadeel vindt van Gerlos is dat de liften niet op loopafstand te bereiken zijn vanaf het centrum. Het dorp verdient niet de schoonheidsprijs. Eigenlijk bestaat Gerlos maar uit 1 straat. Was an awesome place. Great skiing and wonderful village. Superb views on the mountain ranges nearby like Mont Blanc. With the surrounding towns Combloux and Megeve within close proximity it was the ideal place to relax after a day of skiing. Love the village. Allround, will definitely be my choice of places to stay with good accommodation at reasonable prices.
