Ik ga denk ik al 20 jaar naar Fieberbrunn. In die tijd heb ik het dorp enorm weten evalueren, in de positieve zin wel te verstaan. Het is een vrij bescheiden , maar leuk dorpje, met mooie pistes, een aanrader voor gezinnen met kinderen , minder voor jonge mensen die uitdagender pistes zoeken...

Bardonecchia has an excellent choice of blue and red runs and a reliable ski bus service linking the various areas. We were very impressed by the overall management of the resort and catering facilities close to the pistes were also good. When the Turin crowd arrived at the weekend, we made for the more demanding slopes at Jaffereau, which were much quieter. This is an excellent budget resort. Bardonecchia has not much to offer itself, besides skiing. It keeps you busy for some time.

Because of its high altidude, 2100m, Tignes is almost guaranteed snow. Split into two main centres, Val Claret (mainly appartment blocks) and Le Lac (more chalets), Tignes comprises a vast ski area for the more advanced skiier.
