The Espace Killy ski area is simply marvelous. The best places are Tignes Val Claret or Le Lac. I prefer Val Claret. From here you can access so many different slopes and you can ski to almost every apartment or Hotel in the Val Claret centre. The slope and lift system in Tignes is so well thought through that you hardly loose any time getting from one slope to the next. You can get a lot of skiing done even in half a day. Tignes is also the Mecca for off-piste skiing in Europe. I go at least twice every year and always find some powder somewhere but be careful off-piste - go with an expert or guide.
