The two chair lifts up from Foppolo were 4 chair and slow but adequate for the number of people skiing (very few). Except for the weekends there are virtually no waiting lines. Megeve is a beautiful place. The mountains are great, there are plenty of various slopes for all levels. Megeve is situated at low elevation and conditions can be tricky if the snow is not good. The lifts are quite slow as well. This is not the resort to go to if you like the ski-in ski-out type of holiday. Great skiing at Notre Dame de Bellecombe, this largely unknown resort to UK skiers- much better than Les Houches. Lots of good intermediate skiing on mainly NE facing slopes that preserve the snow well and are quiet with no lift queues.
