The two chair lifts up from Foppolo were 4 chair and slow but adequate for the number of people skiing (very few). Except for the weekends there are virtually no waiting lines. Once up you 'll notice the many blues and reds.
A few days is enough to cover everything and have a really good time. The lift pass covers you for Foppolo and the connecting village Carona (I think) but to get to San Simone the third area covered by the lift pass would need to travel by ski bus or drive about 15-25 minutes.
All in all Foppolo is a nice and quiet family budget resort. Friendly eople and superb food.

This is a great little resort, with very good and high pistes! Designed for the beginner to intermediate (you need to ski reds to get to other blue runs). Enough runs to keep you busy for 3/4 days as the ski pass includes the 3 resorts Foppolo, Carona and San Simone. The Italians are very friendly here and really know how to look after you. Families will love this place. Great for kids, the resort has good ski school and is not too rowdy.
