Went to Serre Chevalier a few years back. Really enjoyed as it offers a large number of runs that cater for the intermediate. Advanced skiers will find the lack of steep runs disappointing. However it is a great place to learn to ski. The area around Chantlemerle a great place with lots of interconnecting runs. Firstly, we were very lucky to have a big dump of snow on the day we arrived which obviously set up the conditions perfectly for the week. The scenery is awesome and the extent of the runs available is massive - it would be very easy to ski a different area each day of a 6 day holiday.
