Extensive ski area for good intermediates and blue runs if you go out of your way to find them. Pistes well groomed and lovely huts for lunch etc. Good instruction and a fantastic day trip to the Hidden Valley near Cortina at the bottom of which you are pulled on the snow by horses! Lifts got busy at times on the Sella Ronda but quieter on Col Raiser, Corvara and La Vila. Stayed in central Selva which works well for runs and lifts. Will definitely return to ski some more runs and enjoy the gorgeous dolomites.

Superb, huge skiing area in the most beautiful mountain range I have skied in. Equipped with a modern lift system and promoting the concept of a tour from one area of the Dolomiti Super Ski to another. My wife is a timid intermediate skier and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves touring the Sella Ronda in both directions, going on the Santa Croce ski tour and the highlight was probably the Lagazoi tour past a frozen waterfall. The idea of these tours is to ski on a route which starts and finishes at the same place, taking you through eye wateringly beautiful scenery and if required, a delicious lunch and half a bottle of local wine - just wonderful.

Sella Ronda is something that you don't want to miss. Simply unbelievable and irresistible. I did it both ways 2 days in a row and i already miss it. Ski schools were great and most of the teachers speak english fluently. The lift system was great, so was the food in the mountain huts. In general a great place, highly recommended.

This was just the best ski resort I have been to for a ridiculously long time! The snow was just amazing and it complemented the magnificent runs, that in some cases just seemed to go on forever; 20km run, say no more! The Sellaronda was again just the most exciting series of ski runs I have done since leaving Canada! Brilliant days on the slopes, literally 9-4, and only skied the same runs twice out of choice, like the World Cup Black run, for example. In the evenings we had mega nights out in Goalies, where a big hello to Lucy is owed as well as the Shot Stick...Grappa drinkers only! Great, great, great fun! I can't actually wait to go back, same time, same place!

Just back from a week in Selva Gardena and had a fantastic holiday. For a half term week the resort was busy but very few queues - only those at connections for those doing the sella ronda, and these were only at certain times of the day. Skiing was excellent on well groomed pistes in bright sunshine. Mostly cruising runs, a bit of variety with only occassional black to test advanced skiers but ideal for our mixed group of skiers. All the staff we met were very friendly and the mountain restaurants much cleaner, cheaper and better food than their French counterparts. We stayed at a small family run hotel - Pension Daniel - which we would thoroughly recommmend. Although up the hill a little f
