Kronplatz is a hidden gem as far as the UK market is concerned. It's not a massive area but there is certainly enough to keep most people entertained for a week, and the more adventurous have always got the option of visiting Alta Badia, via the link, for an away day. It's the best resort I've ever been to for facilities - there are no buttons or t-bars whatsoever and only a couple of chairs, and everything else is gondolas. The snow-making facilities are excellent and the slopes were kept in fantastic condition. There are lots of blue runs and a few challenging blacks, only a couple of red runs, one of which is pretty gentle. It's very difficult to get lost as most of the resort runs are do

Afgelopen seizoen ben ik in Brunico geweest en heb ik voor het eerst op de Kronplatz geboard. Ik heb erg veel ervaring in de verschillende skigebieden omdat ik (hobbymatig) wintersport instructeur ben. Na 2 uur op de piste te zijn geweest heeft Kronplatz mijn hart gestolen. Zo'n mooie omgeving, perfecte pistes, goede aansluitingen op de liften (nergens sleep liften alleen maar stoeltjes en gondels). Veel verschillende pistes, van beginnende peuters tot zeer ervaren volwassenen, funparcs met kleine en grote schansen, slalom, bospaden en "snelwegen", bouggle pistes en... te veel om op te noemen.
