We have skied Alpe Di Siusi 2 years, both times in February. It is a lovely resort with great beginner and intermediate conditions. Not crowded, very scenic and picturesque. I love the wonderful Italian food available in the many small restaurants on the slopes. I am advanced/expert and so there is not much to challenge me but the entire Val Gardena area is close by and you can buy a Dolomite superski pass. One negative is, because the resort was built in organic fashion (used to be individual hotels with their own lifts), there is a bit more of flat areas between lifts than I would like. But it is a great family ski destination.

In febr. 2006 na 15 jaar afwezigheid teruggegaan naar Seiseralm. Fantastisch liftennetwerk (veel aanpassingen, nieuwe liften + kap) en nog altijd heerlijke lange, brede zwierpistes. Voor de kinderen (en beginners) helemaal het einde. Skien vanuit het hotel, ideaal. Echter; kun je zelf aardig skien (25 jaar inmiddels) dan mis je beslist op den duur de uitdaging. Alles voelt (en is praktisch) blauw, weinig (pittig) rood, laat staan zwart, dat is er gewoon niet. Voor mij persoonlijk werd dat te eentonig na een aantal dagen en zou toch een volgende keer een meer variabel skigebied kiezen. Nadeel: totaal geen apres-ski, alles sluit om 17.00 uur (en er mag nergens binnen worden gerookt in Italie).
