The cable car from Vigo takes you to a limited but pretty ski area that descends through the trees either to Pera or back to Vigo. We have not tackled the Tomba black yet but the red run back to Vigo is fantastic fun as you sweep around the many wide curves. The other reddish blues here are great for getting your ski legs back and again, are great fun. It is a good area for beginners to gain confidence and experience. Pozza is a bit more challenging for beginners but there is plenty of good skiing for intermediates. The Magic Bear run is lovely. The run back to Pozza gets a bit heavy in the afternoon but is still enjoyable - the scenery makes up for picking your way through the mounds. Pozza

Excellent facilities for children at the top of the cable car with a large secure & well manned childrens park. Runs are very limited, but the black "Tomba" is challenging and the red back to the town is fun. Pistes are tree lined and fully covered by snow machines. Most of the pistes have plenty of shade therefore snow was in excellent condition. Good beginner/family resort. There are connections to adjacent resorts of Pozza , and Campitello & Canazei are 15 minutes drive.
