Dit is werkelijk een fantastisch skigebied. Goed bereikbaar, weinig of geen wachttijden aan de liften (zeker niet als je start in Ladis), brede pistes die meestal goed geprepareerd zijn. Goede eetgelegenheden. Aan te bevelen: de Weisserkessl, lekker en betaalbaar, op de Ladisabfahrt, en de Sportalm in Serfaus, zeer lekker en echt grote porties tegen normale prijzen, beide met bediening. In Ellmau you will reach the top quickly and comfortably with a funicular train "hartkaiserbahn" in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental without question. Theoretically you can sweep off to an alpine ski hut, a nice umbrella bar or a cosy mountain tavern every 3.57 kilometres. Have been twice to Kaprun in January ...first time as beginners 2006, second time, as not quite beginners/intermediate in 2007!
