The skiing was fabulous - plenty of snow and lots of well-groomed pistes - very good for the intermediate skier, but not many black runs for the more advanced. It was well worth paying for the area pass as there were some great slopes on the Swiss side and there were some excellent restaurants on the run down to Zermatt. Echt een geweldig gebied voor gevorderden, voor kids is er niks helaas. Als je een dag niet gaat skieen is het ook super, leuke winkels barretjes eettentjes... En natuurlijk even overstappen naar Lech wat ook een super gebied is.

We made our fifteenth annual visit to Hinterglemm. Our group goes from teens to seventy-pluses, from beginners to world-travelled experts, and this is the resort for everyone. Very few tows, now, as Saalbach-Hinterglemm are constantly up-grading, and have also invested heavily in snow-machines; as a result even in times of little snow-fall, the skiing is OK.
