Zermatt is a beautiful resort with some excellent skiing to be done. It’s a place that every skier should experience at least once in their lives. the town is in the altitude of 1620 m whereas the highest lift-station, Gobba di Rollin, is in the altitude of 3899 m. The total vertical height difference is therefore a respectable 2279 m. Furthermore, its possible to ski all the way down to Zermatt from Gobba di Rollin, if one so wishes. Net terug van een geweldige week Gerlos. Klein dorpje wat alleen draait op de wintersport. Skigebied is goed, jammer dat er voor beginners minder mogelijkheden zijn aangezien er veel rode pistes zijn. Ik vond het skigebied iets eentonig, veel dezelfde afdalingen met de zelfde moeilijkheidsgraad en heel weinig uitdagende zwarte pistes. Apres ski is zeer goed, Cin Cin was voor ons super!! Gezellig druk!

What a great way to spend a week ! Party of 5 staying at the Hotel Diva in Val Claret. w/c 14th Jan 2008 Hotel - excellent location right next to the main ski school area and the hub connection to the Tichot, Fresse, Grand Motte Funiculaire lifts. Just a 10 minute walk into the Val Claret town with a number of good bars / restaurants / shops. Food (buffet) can be a little repetitive but on the whole good.
