There are loads of good runs mostly red but with some challenging bits. The wider area provides some really good skiing, especially in Piz Sella where there is an excellent outdoor bar! Skiing around Arabba was also very good and the Marmolada was brilliant! In fact I would say there weren’t any bad parts except a blue section where you had to cross country ski when travelling between Piz Sella and Canazei. Great snow, good weather, small but perfectly formed resort with easy access to all parts of the resort, virtually no crowds on lifts or pistes, pleasant mountain restaurants, excellent, well organized English speaking ski school , friendly well equipped hotel. Direction of slopes leads to skiing in shade much of the day so can be chilly, limited runs and lifts for dedicated all day skiers but easy access to Ischgl by ski bus for keen types. Obergurgl is a lovely old fashioned traditional resort which is popular with families. Because the resort is high up conditions are mostly excellent, I think bad weather can be common and we had two days of quite heavy snow which made conditions challenging! I think the resort is best suited to people with a little experience or intermediates.
