Had a fantastic week in Lech. We were given a great welcome and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were self catering and didnt feel at all out of place. There are two good supermarkets and lots of restaurants - for some reason quite a few dont take credit or debit cards, but there are several cash machines so it was not a problem. I have been ski-ing at this resort for more than 10 years, after many previous years of trying out other countries. As a family of varying ages, there is something here for us all, whether beginners, skiers or boarders. The atmosphere is great although it becomes less desirable during peak "french school holiday" periods when it is very busy and crowded. I am lucky to have my own accommodation but there are a lot of english owners now and rather than booking cheap apartments…

The valley between Innsbruck and Neustift is stunningly beautiful. While a bit limited in scope the whole resort is modern and efficiently organised. Lift and restaurant staff are very helpful and welcoming. The snow, even at the end of April in a poor year, was excellent though a bit heavy at lower altitudes towards the end of the day - the price of blue skies and warm sunshine.
