Great snow, good weather, small but perfectly formed resort with easy access to all parts of the resort, virtually no crowds on lifts or pistes, pleasant mountain restaurants, excellent, well organized English speaking ski school , friendly well equipped hotel. Direction of slopes leads to skiing in shade much of the day so can be chilly, limited runs and lifts for dedicated all day skiers but easy access to Ischgl by ski bus for keen types. Leysin is great! I go back at least once a year. Nice atmosphere, sunny slopes, easy access, fun nightlife, interesting people. Could use another lift or two - especially on the west side near the old Les Chamois building.

Basically, I would say if you are a beginner or a timid intermediate there are much better resorts for you to visit. The only "proper" runs are at Le Tour (Domaine La Balme). There you will find nicely pisted slopes with a fair grading system which will enable you to***ess what you can expect from a run accurately. There is also a nice wee beginner area at the bottom.
