Bardonecchia has an excellent choice of blue and red runs and a reliable ski bus service linking the various areas. We were very impressed by the overall management of the resort and catering facilities close to the pistes were also good. When the Turin crowd arrived at the weekend, we made for the more demanding slopes at Jaffereau, which were much quieter. This is an excellent budget resort. Bardonecchia has not much to offer itself, besides skiing. It keeps you busy for some time.

Its really bad for beginners, nursery slopes are few and busy with sledging as well. Good for intermediate, advanced and expert. Off Piste – wow! Lifts seem to break down over an hour a day! Intermediates– good place for you. Not much in the way of on mountain restaurants. The nightlife keeps you up all night!

The resort is very nice. There was good snow, some areas a little icy but im a boarder so love the powder but on some slopes full of the fluffy stuff. depends on the run suppose. Good access to all runs and the area Portes du Soleil so lots of slopes to choose from. The lifts are generally in good working order and queues are correspondingly small - especially given all those pistes.
