The skiing was fabulous - plenty of snow and lots of well-groomed pistes - very good for the intermediate skier, but not many black runs for the more advanced. It was well worth paying for the area pass as there were some great slopes on the Swiss side and there were some excellent restaurants on the run down to Zermatt. Pisten zijn niet echt rood, maar rose...zeer goed geprepareerd..erg veel liften ,gondels en telecabines...overal genoeg gezellige restaurants op de piste.Mooie brede pisten. Campitello zelf heeft zeer weinig terrassen voor apres-ski. Weinig gezellige restaurants in het dorp zonder uitstraling. Nadeel in januari...er is in het dorp slechts zon van een uur of half één tot een uur of vier.Dorp geheel in de schaduw van de bergen.

The skiing was great! We enjoyed Lech and Zurs a bit more than St. Anton, but what was really special, was the Apre Ski! We liked Taps - which is on the other side of Krazy Kangaruh, because the music (hard rock) was great! So was the barman! Mooserwirt was also a riot! Most days we would drink from 16:00 straight till a late dinner and then crash! - we loved this since we could be up early the next morning with no hangover!
