Champoluc is part of the stunning MonteRosa Ski. In MonteRosa Ski, there are mountains everywhere so the lifts take you up and then you ski down the valley. Initially I found this somewhat unsatisfying, but after a while you appreciate the stunning views, the wide, fast and empty slopes and enjoy the whole experience. Veysonnaz is small and friendly. It suits all levels of skiers and is ideal for kids. The are no queues at the lifts!! We have been visiting here for 4 years in the winter and summer. Both seasons are beautiful. Veysonnaz is not the place to go if you want to party hard. It is quiet with several good bars and restuarants.
