One word: great! The skiing accomodations are great. They have everything from slopes above tree level, looking at huge masses of snow and mountains, to slopes based on roads, going through the trees downhill. It's also pretty big and nearly everything is connected, so you never have to take a bus to go from that village or slope to this village or slope and back. My family and I have just returned from a week in Zell am See 1st - 8th March 2008, the resort was compact and picturesque with a varied and family friendly apres ski scene. We stayed half board in the Hotel Heitzman a small family run hotel, with a friendly atmosphere, great rooms and first class food. Just back from Sauze ( feb 2008) we had been once before as beginners and it was everything we remembered. The snow was fantastic and the weather even better. I was a very cautious skier at the beginning of the week but thanks to a great ski school was a much more competetent and very much less cautious skier by the end of the week.
