Top-rated ski resort reviews

Had my best skiing holiday ever, during the first week of February 2008. It was our first time to visit Zell am Zee, and we were very impressed. It's a beautiful area, great town, loads of restaurants and bars, plenty of shopping and facilities, and skiing was great. A lot of the easier blue and red runs are at the top of the mountain, where you can pick and choose which runs suit you. We will definitely return to Zell and Crazy Daisys for apres-ski!!!

Very nice place, excellent ski and logistic infrastructure! I stayed at Kirchberg hof hotel, 3 stars but has everything you need for a ski holiday: nice, clean and spacious room, dissent food. In Kirchberg there are plenty of restaurants of all choice. Kitzbuhel is 5 min drive. As for skiing, there are so many options around that 7 days is just not enough to visit all the resort has to offer, from beginner to expert level. We just had our second visit to Flaine in three years 15 - 22nd March. Once again we had brilliant conditions -- lots of snow. This time we stayed in an apartment in the lower section of the resort right next to the piste. Flaine center definitely lacks style but somehow the austere buildings do fit in with the natural shape of the bowl. As for the views up in the mountains the area clearly boasts one of the most amazing majestic views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks. The great…
