Nassfeld is a hidden gem. Not well known outside of Austria, but with good skiing. It is very snow sure, being what the Austrians call a Schnee winkel, snow pocket. There is about 100 miles of piste, mostly red, with a few blacks and a couple of blues. I would say it's not great for absolute beginners, as most of the resort is laid to reasonably steep reds. There is good lift accessed off piste, and you can ski across the border into Italy. There are also good, tight, tree runs off…

All chair lifts up to 8 man disconnect from main cable in stns making safe use for all. Many and varied runs, some challenging reds, other wide open easy pistes. The only downside is there is not much to challenge the most proficient of skiers but beginners and intermediates are well catered for. Excellent ski school. Accommodation whilst not cheap…
