Ellmsu behoort tot het grote skigebied Skiwelt en je kunt dus naar alle dorpen van dit gebied skieen. Dit maakt het leuk voor de gevorderde skieer, maar ook voor beginners kun je hier heel leuk skieen. Skiwelt is Austria's BIGGEST linked ski resort. Whilst it might not challenge advanced skiers, for most it is superb. Scheffau is a little quiet, but not everyone wants apres ski until 3am. If you're looking for a family holiday in a village with charm and character and very easy access to the slopes, Scheffau is beautiful.
