Random ski resort reviews

Returned just before Christmas. Great resort with good snow just as we were leaving. The set-up is a bit bitty with one ski area at each end of town with a trip down the hill, across on the bus, then up again to get from one to the other. Am told there is some off-piste but wasnt the right time of year for me with the snow conditions. Its really bad for beginners, nursery slopes are few and busy with sledging as well. Good for intermediate, advanced and expert. Off Piste – wow! Lifts seem to break down over an hour a day! Intermediates– good place for you. Not much in the way of on mountain restaurants. The nightlife keeps you up all night!

We fell in love with Ste Foy a few years ago. Having done the big resorts for years and stood in queue's for hours on end, having been wiped out a few times whilst standing at the side of the piste when out of control skiers slam into you, Ste Foy is a dream come true. Our children are safer by far there, they 8 & 9 and know all the instructors and hug them as freinds. I have never seen more than 4 or 5 to a class obviously more in peak season.
