I had a great time in Filzmoos. This year it struggled with the lack of snow but to be honest the conditions were still good and my last Saturday there was fantastic with a beautiful day and hardly anyone on the slopes! It is a small village with lots of charm and something for everyone. The resort runs are a little limited and mainly suit beginners but the two final slopes into the resort are quite steep unless you can find the cut through the woods that brings you on the Nursery…

Firstly, we were very lucky to have a big dump of snow on the day we arrived which obviously set up the conditions perfectly for the week. The scenery is awesome and the extent of the runs available is massive - it would be very easy to ski a different area each day of a 6 day holiday. Apart from a couple of areas the majority of runs are very wide blues and reds ideal for progressing your technique and as we had 4 children with us aged 8-11 they could ski with us all day without any…

Nice ski area but usually not the best snow conditions, down to resort often slushy so best to get gondola down from middle station. Apres ski is limited, but there are several nice bars on the slopes.
