A great surprise ! Was las week in Serre Chevalier : extensive area, very modern lifts, less queueing. Despite some reviews, Serre Chevalier benefits from a good night life : restaurant, wine bars, coffees, pubs with concerts, a large disco...and the hot baths ! 37A

The resort is charming, the locals very welcoming, the skiing is varied and challenging and the restaurants serve wonderful food. We have stayed in the Alphof, the Alpbacherhof and the Berghof several times. They are all great. While Alpbach is a tiny resort, with limited runs, it's beautiful, friendly and just 40 minutes transfer from Innsbruck. We felt at home there, and our trip has turned us into ski fanatics. We are already looking to book for next year, and only wish we could fit…

La Tania is the perfect place to access the 3V yet without the Russian prices. There are now a few bars, restaurants, and enough shops. La Tania is a very friendly place. Big Bonus is the free bus to catch if you want to spend time wandering around Courchevel for a change or a different night out. Always spend happy hour in The Ski Lodge straight after skiing as they often have live bands on with beer at reasonable prices.
