Serre Chevalier's ski area is very diversified. There is something for every skill level. The slopes above Villeneuve and Monetier is very beautiful, extensive and quiet. The runs from the top of Villeneuve to the bottom are fantastic with excellent groomed pistes. Once at the bottom head to Le grotte for happy hour! Also, You should try a trip to neighbouring briancon

Serre Chevalier is a great ski resort with very good snow conditions, a large ski area, and a good ski bus system, also free at night. The only negative point is the lack of night life.

Great little friendly resort for families with easy access to the 3 Valleys. Stayed in a nice slope-side chalet operated by Snowline in third week of February - great weather, great skiing, great food, great chalet hosts and co guests. Would highly recommend this resort to skiers who don't want to (or no longer have the energy) spend all night in night clubs and bars.
