Latest ski resort reviews

Wonderful resort, wide pistes, not at all busy, never queued all week. The snow was wonderful. skied 30/35 miles a day. Skiing accross the border into Sauze dOulx Italy is an adventure and lunching at the sweet little Italian restaurants for variety made it a great trip. Montgenevre is very safe for kids, especially in the evening. Only downside - not many restaurants on the mountain, but overall wonderful going back again.

Well Borovets, the snow was not great and the resort management did not seem willing or able to optimize the slopes at all to make the most of the conditions. This was very frustrating as we had to ski over rock strewn pathways and icy pistes. The hired skis and boots themselves were old and unserviced rubbish. Another major gripe was the poor service and poor quality of the food. The food, generally, is surprisingly awful. It was cheap, but not cheap enough. £4/5 for an inedible…

Great skiresort for boarders. Many challenging reds and some exciting off-piste opportunities. Furthermore there are some nice cruising slopes towards Meribel and around Courchevel. Val Thorens can get a bit crowded especially the slopes back to downtown VT. Val Thorens has a lively nightlife and some cool bars. Prices are a bit steep, but you'll have a great night. Too bad there are way more men than women. But the women ARE very pretty: Scandinavians and Dutch!
