Saas Fee is a SUPERB town, the surroundings are amazing.... The atmosphere is great. Saas Fee is a MUST go for any advanced rider. If you are a beginner, DONT GO TO SAAS FEE... The slopes are not very suitable for beginners. For more advanced riders saas fee is the best. The lift infra is bad. But if you dont mind walking its OK..

Arosa an undiscovered delight! Fabulous skiing, well maintained pistes, great apres-ski, but not too noisy, excellent transport system. One criticism about Arosa is that the runs (that I went on) are quite narrow, that might put off some people. Arosa has enough restaurants and coffee shops - if you want more, go down to Chur. Lift prices are not cheap, but where is these days? Reasonable' prices for food at the top - but stick to things like soup & chips, and it's not so pricey.

Extensive ski area for good intermediates and blue runs if you go out of your way to find them. Pistes well groomed and lovely huts for lunch etc. Good instruction and a fantastic day trip to the Hidden Valley near Cortina at the bottom of which you are pulled on the snow by horses! Lifts got busy at times on the Sella Ronda but quieter on Col Raiser, Corvara and La Vila. Stayed in central Selva which works well for runs and lifts. Will definitely return to ski some more runs and enjoy…
