Just got back from a fantastic week at Borovets (9th - 16th Feb. 2008). I've been skiing since the early 1980s had a short break when the kids were born and returned to it 3 seasons ago, taking my young son with me. I didn't quite know what to expect from Borovets having read so many varying reports. I was pleasantly surprised and find it difficult to relate to some of the negative reviews that appear. We stayed ay the Samokov. Excellent facilities, food very good and plenty of it, rooms o.k. but could do with a little refurbishment. The ski school that I was in was superb, the instructor realised that we were all good skiers and acted basically as a ski guide all week, giving each of us lit
