Well Borovets, the snow was not great and the resort management did not seem willing or able to optimize the slopes at all to make the most of the conditions. This was very frustrating as we had to ski over rock strewn pathways and icy pistes. The hired skis and boots themselves were old and unserviced rubbish. Another major gripe was the poor service and poor quality of the food. The food, generally, is surprisingly awful. It was cheap, but not cheap enough. £4/5 for an inedible burger is not great. In summary, it's a cheap and not that cheerful resort. Blackpool with snow. I really wanted to love it and prove the Alpine snobs wrong. However, it is not a patch on the traditional Alpine
