Les Menuires is great value for money. We came here with our two kids and Les Menuires is a great starting point for a ski holiday in Les 3 Vallees. Loved the slopes, the weather and food! The resort itself is not the prettiest, but the central position opposite the slopes makes up for that. Access to Meribel is even better than in neighbouring Val Thorens.

Hafjell, excellent resort for beginners and intermediates, superb snow. Teh slopes are long and flattering, no lift queues, not even on holidays or Saturdays. Lots of English spoken but still a nice friendly Scandinavian atmosphere. The instructors and staff are excellent, nothing ever seems too much trouble. We stayed in Hafjell or Hundersfossen resort near the Olympic bob run - save time on the transfer busses plus you get first morning runs and night skiing.

San Cassiano is an undiscovered gem - i love it. It is a small traditional village with access to miles and miles of skiing. I just love the Dolomites and San Cassiano is a delightful gateway to the masses of skiing around the Sella Ronda. You can ski over to Arabba...and the Marmolda glacier and if you\'ve set off early enough countinue round the whole of the Sella Ronda circuit. The lift system is quick and efficient, bubbles having replaced chairs in several places, meaning queues…
