Moena isn\'t a ski-in, ski-out resort. But it is a short drive from several separate areas of superb pistes, set amidst stunning scenery in the Val di Fassa. For those who don\'t mind day-tripping to the slopes, it\'s a canny choice. The pistes are every bit as good as they are in A-list resorts, but the prices are much lower. The three villages of Moena, Falcade and Passo San Pellegrino are all located in the \'Trevalli\' ski area of the Val di Fassa.

Zell am See is the party town in the Alps. The apres-ski and nightlife is very lively, lot\'s of young people. Zell am See is a charming village next to a large lake. The lake is almost allways frozen during the winter. The skiing in Zell am See is great. It suits the intermediate skier. Slopes are quite long. Not every part of the skiarea is very sunny, you have to move according the time of the day. Please dont forget to the local food in one of the many small mountain restaurants.

Last year we visited beautiful Hemsedal, fantastic! The ski resort is extremely sure of great snow conditions and the slopes are great. The ski resort and village are not as luxerious as some of the ski resorts in the alps, but they can definitely compete on after-ski (apres-ski) in Hemsedal! Loved it!
