Had two holidays last year in the Three Valleys: Meribel with a set of friends for a long weekend and February half-term week with my family at Courchevel 1650. For a relatively quiet, family friendly environment 1650 is ideal. We stayed in an apartment at Residence 1650 a block of apartments right next to the Ariondaz cable car and were able to ski to the door. We used Agence 1650 and found the whole process of looking for apartments, booking on-line, picking up keys etc very easy.…

Just got back from Rauris after an enjoyable weeks skiing and thought I would leave a few impressions. The resort is a real chocolate box to look at but it is not accesable on skis, there is a ski bus () every half hour but most of the action is up one levl on the slopes. These are accessable by a bubble lift with(in mid march) no queues. The skiing under the bubble is good for early intermediates and the slopes well groomed. We enjoyed Christmas week in Soll, having organised the trip privately. This is our 10th stay in Soll and we keep returning for the village charm, friendliness of the locals, excellent ski school, huge ski area and excellent value for money. All this is wrapped up in the unique brand of Austrian gemutlichkeit that they have perfected so well over the decades.
