A lovely, quiet resort with efficient lifts and good snow the week we were there. We had a great time. There is a variety of runs, including gentle blues for beginners and some challenging blacks. However, the only runs to the village are red and black, so beginners have to use the gondola. Not much nightlife, avoid this place if you are a raver!

Forget about ski industry, concrete buildings, skiing queue, and the like. We are talking about doing 2100m *** EACH TIME (1450 -> 3550 in one go). Dream about a station with as many people coming in the whole season as in one single day at La Plagne. This is a different world. This is about skiing in the wild. This IS about free-riding...

Zeer geschikt skigebied voor zowel beginners als gevorderden,zeker na de aansluiting met Gerlos en Königsleiten. Zeer groot skigebied geworden. Zell am Ziller is geschikt voor gezinnen die met de auto op wintersport gaan. De gondel ligt namelijk ver uit het centrum. Hotel bij de gondel is een aanrader. De après-ski in Zell am Ziller is een giller. Jongeren die echt willen feesten moeten nood gedwongen uitwijken naar omliggende dorpjes (maryrhofen) en met de taxi terug. Dit is…
