Zell is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area, which consists of the linked area of Zell, Gerlos,Konigsleiten & Gerlosplatte. This gives a ski area greater and I my opinion better than nearby Mayrhofen. Runs through out the area are predominately red with a few blacks,Gerlos having a few blues. It is not in my opinion a beginners area but is great for intermediate level skiing. Like Mayrhofen, Zell does not have a "home" run so you must use the gondola to go up and down. I encountered minimal queues. Need to use the frequent ski from the village to lift. Lift pass (super) covers the Zillertal area including Mayrhofen, Kaltenbach and Hintertuxer which are all easily accessable fr
