The ultimate off-piste resort. Extreme skiers and snowboarders flock to La Grave - La Meije for extreme off piste skiing and snowboarding. The natural untouched and exceptionally steep terrain offers some of the largest lift accessed off piste skiing and snowboarding in the world. Its one major lift to 3,200m on the shoulder of La Meije serves countless serious routes back to the base and to other points, including some notoriously dangerous couloirs. This is not the resort for beginners!

Forget about ski industry, concrete buildings, skiing queue, and the like. We are talking about doing 2100m *** EACH TIME (1450 -> 3550 in one go). Dream about a station with as many people coming in the whole season as in one single day at La Plagne. This is a different world. This is about skiing in the wild. This IS about free-riding...
